Rian LP Pern BE 2519 Wat Bang Phra First Batch

This is Rian Luang Phor Pern BE 2519. It is the first batch of amulet made by Luang Phor Pern when he became the abbot of Wat Bang Phra. This amulet is highly sought in the market and there are many fakes. Some of them are even close to perfect. The only ways to identify it is to see the details and oxidation on the amulet.

There are 2 types of fakes which are high quality fake and old fakes. High quality fakes are usually perfect as it got all the details of the amulet. But most of them remain shiny because they have not oxidize. Genuine ones already became like the one in the picture as a layer of Copper Oxide is formed onto the surface. Some high quality fakes are painted with brown metallic paint to make people thought that the amulet had oxidize. However it is not difficult to tell whether it is painted.

Old fakes are harder to distinguish as they too are also oxidize, resulting difficulties in examining them. However, technology was not so advance, the small curve of symbols, counterfeit makers could not make them perfectly. the face of LP Pern and the tiger are usually the key points in examine them as counterfeit makers could not make them perfectly.

可是当年的科技没有这样发达，不能完美的做出全部记号。小的弯曲符，大师的脸和老虎都是这牌的死角。
