伏虎罗汉，龙坡本大师是泰国出名的高僧之一。大师的佳作有灵验的佛牌，老虎圣物和Sak-Yant经文纹身法。
LP Pern was borned in 12th August 1923 in Nakhon Pathom province. Not long after he was borned, his parents decide to move into a village known as Tung Kork Barn. The trail to the village was always lurked with robbers. Thus, making those who wanted to use the trail feel vulnerable. As a result, before LP Pern ordain as a monk, he was already interested to ancient warriors' use of magic as protection, amulets, and super natural things. Later, he became student of Wat Tung Kork, LP Deang as his master. Who was famous for his skilled magic.
大师出生于1923年8月12日在Nakhon Pathom省。在他出世不久后，他的双亲决定到Tung Kork Barn的村子居住。到村子的路上常常有拦路劫匪，令许多路人忐忑不安。就因为这样，大师早在出家以前就对古泰国战士的佛牌与圣物，法术护身法和灵异之谈等有兴趣。大师后来拜Wat Tung Kork，龙坡Deang大师为师。龙坡Deang大师是一个擅长法术的大师。

LP Pern officially ordained as a monk at the age of 26. His Dharma name is called Phra Udon Prachanart. He vowed that he will not quite being a monk. LP Pern became student of Archan Huemer, he is also a monk skilled in magic. He taught LP Pern the art of making money relics and yant writing.
大师在26岁时正式出家。大师的法名叫Phra Udon Prachanart，大师法师永入沙门，不还俗。大师后来拜阿赞Huemer大师为师。阿赞Huemer大师也是一位擅长法术的大师，阿赞Huemer大师交了龙坡本大师如何画符和制作钱母。

LP Pern later became one of the venerable LP Ophassi's students. Who was famous for his incredible tales and magic. LP Pern was taught by LP Ophassi Vipassana, the art of meditation.
大师后来成为赫赫有名的龙坡Ophassi大师的弟子。龙坡Ophassi大师不可思议的事迹和法术使他成名，龙坡Ophassi大师教了龙坡Pern大师Vipassana 坐禅法。
After that, LP Pern went to Kanchanaburi (a place near Myanmar border) for tudong. (training for monks in the forest) He went to Saesawoe and Graenggawia Bang forests. It was said that these 2 forests are filled with evil spirits and strange illness will be caused and many of them cannot be explained and cured even by todays medical science. Despite these risks, LP Pern takes on the tudong.
之后，大师便到靠近缅甸边境的Kanchanaburi，进入Saesawoe和Graenggawia Bang的森林荒原修行。相传这荒原充满了恶灵和现代医学解释不了的怪病，但大师还是勇往直前。
In these 2 forests, there inhabitants and most of them are from the Karen Tribe. Many of them became LP Pern's disciple. Due to kind nature of LP Pern, he was welcomed and loved by the locals. Locals had invited him to be the abbot of Wat Tung Nang Lork. LP Pern agreed and be the abbot of this temple for 5 years. During this time, he built a lot of Kuthis (a place where monks rest) and temples. After that, he returned into the forest.
在这2个森林荒原里的居民都来自Karen部落。许多居民都成了大师的弟子。由于大师本性慈祥，无论大师到哪里都受到当地居民的爱戴。当地居民还请了大师成为Wat Tung Nang Lork的主持。大师答应了，并担任主持5年。在这5年里，大师兴建佛舍和发展庙宇，之后就返回森林了。
There was one time, when LP Pern decided to practise tudong in a mountain. The locals and following monks warned him not to practise in the mountain as there have been reports of tigers being spotted. Yet, he insist his decisions and went into the mountain. Suddenly, a ferocious tiger appeared. Everyone ran away frantically and some even climbed onto the tree, LP Pern sat down and started to chant. Everyone started to worry as they afraid the tiger will kill LP Pern. However, surprisingly, the tiger sat down in front of LP Pern and listen to his chantings. When he finish his chanting, the tiger simply walked away. LP Pern also said that he encountered a lot of tigers during his tudong period and he chants whenever he encounters 1. This is how the legend of LP Pern pacifies tigers aroused. As a result, he is being called the "Tiger Pacifier Monk"
相传有一次，大师要上一座深山修行。山脚下的居民和弟子们上那座山修行，因为有猛虎出现。可是大师不听，坚持上山。半途中，老虎突然出现了，村民和弟子拔腿就跑，有的还爬到树上去。大师却不慌不忙地坐下，开始念经，村民和弟子们都害怕大师遇害。可出乎意料的，老虎上前坐在地上，乖乖的听大师念经，大师念完经后老虎就走了。大师降伏老虎的传说和 “伏虎罗汉” 就是这样来的。
Also, LP Pern claimed that tiger imaged amulets and relics are efficient in protection, increase your status and money. As a result, most of his amulets are printed with tiger image and the relics are tiger related as well.
大师还声称老虎可以避险避邪，增加权威和招财。所以大师的佛牌和圣物主要以老虎图形为主。
Years later, LP Pern returned to Nakhon Pathom province and became the abbot of Wat Kaoge Khaemao. Back at that time, the temple was at the brink of destruction. To make matter worse is that the temple is located deep in the forest. So, in 1966 (BE 2509) LP Pern made the very first batch of amulet, Rian Sema LP Pern BE 2509. He use the money gathered from visitors to rebuild the temple. As a result, he was doted by many people.
几年后，龙坡本大师返回Nakhon Pathom省并成了Wat Kaoge Khaemao的主持。这间寺庙当时已严重破损，更糟的是，寺庙是在森林的深处。于是在1966年（BE 2509）大师做了自己的头批铜牌，Rian Sema LP Pern BE 2509。他把筹来的钱拿来修建寺庙，大师这一举得到了更多信徒的爱戴。
In 1973 (BE 2516), the abbot of Wat Bang Phra had passed away. Local villagers requested LP Pern to be the new abbot of Wat Bang Phra. LP Pern agreed and he made many amulets. One of the most notable amulet is the Rian LP Pern BE 2519, it is the first batch amulet made by him in Wat Bang Phra. LP Pern also taught his disciples the Sak-Yant, art of scripture tattooing. So, most of the tattooing are done by his disciples. People can choose pictures displayed in the temple to tattoo them onto their body. They can also choose to use oil (pictures will fade away after a period of time) or ink to tattoo. Later on, LP Pern become famous for his amulets and tattooing. As a result, each year's Tattoo Festival in March, many people would gather at Wat Bang Phra just to get a tattoo.

LP Pern passed away in 2002 (BE 2542) June, at the age of 78. It was said that LP Pern's body was instantly mummified. Now his body is placed in the glass coffin located at the temple hall. Despite his death, his amulets & relics still attract many young generation collectors and his name will remain forever. His kind looking smile will still remain in many people's mind. Most notably, even today, the number of visitors do not decrease in Tattooing Festival.
2002（BE 2542）6月，龙坡本大师圆寂，享年78岁。相传大师的遗体奇迹般的瞬间木乃伊化。如今，他的遗体被安置在寺庙大厅的玻璃棺材里。虽然大师离开了，但他的佛牌与圣物仍然吸引着年轻一代的佛牌圣物收藏家，他的名子和慈祥的的笑容永远留在人们的脑海里。

LP Pern came to Singapore in 27th June 1995. He had been to a family friend's house. The picture above was taken at the friend's house.
